You as the SUBJECT
"HELP!"
A subject can only use the power of invisibility when it is giving commands or requests.
Example: Help me. Look Out! Stop!
If we reveal these invisible subjects , you'll be able to see who the subject of each sentence is.
You, help me. You, look out! You, stop!
The subject of each of these sentences is "you."
Example: Help me milk the cow. (you)
Tom, help me milk the cow. (you)
Whenever anyone makes a command or request, they are directing the command or request toward a second person or persons.
Directions:
ON your paper write the following sentences. Identify the subject in each sentence as visible or invisible. Include the invisible subject if needed in another color (You). Write in cursive and in ink. (no rewrites needed!!) ** When you write the subject please be sure to use correct capitalization if needed. **not all are invisible :-)
