Learning Centers "Flowers for Algernon"
These learning centers will use a variety of learning strategies to help you the strengthen your knowledge on the concepts within the Daniel Keyes's short story, "Flowers for Algernon." There are a total of seven (7) learning centers. Following journal work in the morning, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the centers. This will also require some work on your part outside of class as well, since a few are PROJECTS which you will have to spend concentrated time to complete. You will select 5 of the seven centers, all of which will be due by the end of the unit. Due date TBA. REQUIRED CENTERS: Centers- one, two, four, and five. Centers three, six, and seven, you will have the option of selecting the one that interests you the most. This center is your project and it is expected you will spend quality time working on it. This last project is an as-you-go project since it covers the entire unit and is based on the complete story (beginning to end.)
