Possessive Nouns
A noun that shows ownership or possession is called a possessive noun. Possessive nouns, like all nouns, can be singular or plural.
**A possessive noun names who or what has something.
Example: The World Cup is the amateur skiers' competition.
A prize is awarded for the outstanding man's achievement.
Directions: Number your paper 9-15. write the possessive pronoun in each sentence. Identify if the noun is singular or plural after the word. For exercise 2 do only the even numbers. Write each sentence in cursive in your best penmanship and underline the possessive pronoun you have entered from the parentheses.
